Spiritual Care

The Spiritual Care Department at Good Samaritan Medical Center is dedicated to the concept that the spiritual well-being of our patients is as important as their physical well-being.

We have an interfaith staff which provides support and encouragement to patients, families and friends who take comfort in such company. As a Catholic hospital, we take special care to provide the Sacraments of Reconciliation (confession), Holy Communion and Anointing of the Sick.

Clergy of all faiths are welcome to visit and counsel patients from their congregation. Upon request, staff can make arrangements for patients to see their priest, minister, rabbi, or clergy person.
